Quilting is one of the talents the Amish people are most recognized for and when visiting Elkhart County you are sure to spot quilt shops through out the small towns.
Little Helpers is one of those better known shops located on a small Amish Farm along US 20 just west of Shipshewana.
If you delve a little deeper into the countryside you are sure to find many little hidden treasures resting among spring flowers. Along the country roads you will find the Amish homes where quilts are made with love and sold on a consignment basis.
Don't be afraid to stop at an Amish home that has a hand made sign signifying they are in "Quilts for Sale". You may just stumble upon a "once in a lifetime" find which makes this a hidden treasure you should take advantage of.
